Summary: This paper researches the detection method in halftone images using AdaBoost algorithm for training a object detector. Modified Haarlike features are used as features in weak classifiers. The method has been tested on The Yale B Face Database where images are obtained under 65 different illumination conditions. Experimental research on face detection method was carried out using the Matlab environment.
